Enjoy welcoming people and ensuring events run smoothly?
Our events range from small workshops to large community debates. We need friendly volunteers to help set up, decorate, serve refreshments, greet guests, and clean up. Whether you love organizing or just want to help out, you’ll be a vital part of our team.
What you’ll do: Set up and decorate venues, serve food and drinks, welcome attendees, and help with cleanup.
Estimated time commitment: 2–4 hours per event (about 10 in-person and 4 online events per year; you can choose which to help with).
Are you a wordsmith or a natural promoter?
Help us spread the Braver Angels message! As a Marketing Volunteer, you’ll craft compelling emails, write event descriptions, and brainstorm creative ways to reach new audiences. You’ll work with a supportive team and see your ideas come to life in our community.
What you’ll do: Write newsletters, draft event blurbs, help with press releases, and brainstorm outreach strategies.
Estimated time commitment: 2–4 hours per month, depending on project load.
Do you love design or have an eye for visuals?
We need creative minds to make our events and campaigns stand out! As a Graphics Volunteer, you’ll design flyers, event banners, social media images, and more. Your work will help us connect with people visually and make every event feel special.
What you’ll do: Create digital and print graphics for events, social media, and outreach materials.
Estimated time commitment: 2–4 hours per month, depending on project needs.
Are you active on social media and love connecting with others online?
As a Social Media Volunteer, you’ll help us engage the community, share our story, and promote upcoming events on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and X (Twitter). You’ll help foster positive, respectful conversations online.
What you’ll do: Post event updates, share photos, engage with followers, and help grow our online presence.
Estimated time commitment: 2–4 hours per month, flexible around your schedule.
Do you enjoy facilitating conversations? Get certified as a Moderator and steward the workshops we regularly offer.
If you enjoy rousing yet respectful conversations about topics of current interest, consider certifying as a Debate Chair.
If the mission of Braver Angels is close to your heart, share it with small and large groups as an Ambassador
If you like managing projects, consider training as an Organizer.

Consider applying to join Braver Network.Across Colorado, organizations are coming together to acknowledge the toll political polarizations is having on our communities and emphasize civil discourse. The mission of Braver Network is to bring organizations together to help grow and spread a social movement for bridging the partisan divide. If your mission aligns with ours or would benefit from our training and activities, consider joining the growing Braver Network. We partner with respected groups - in Colorado and nationwide - including the Mediators Foundation, The Colorado Forward Party and our newest member, Reclaiming Civility. We work together to host events and build community connection.
