Upcoming events hosted by our Alliance and the National Organization
Join us on Tuesday, January 27th at Resolute Brewing to practice your constructive conversation skills about one of the most important and complex issues facing our country and local community. Rooted in the Braver Angels Way of respectful, open discourse, this event aims to foster a meaningful and enjoyable exchange of views on immigration as we practice communicating across the political divide. Through small-group discussions, you'll have the opportunity to share your perspective, where it comes from, and listen to others as we tackle the following questions:
What are your biggest hopes and concerns regarding immigration? How have your hopes and concerns been shaped by your personal or communal experiences?
How does the current immigration system impact our society from your perspective?
How should the current immigration system be improved, balancing the many different considerations and tradeoffs involved?
Where do we have common ground, and where do we have genuine respectful disagreements?
This is an in-person event only. Come have a beer or non-alcoholic beverage and be a part of the effort to depolarize our country and community!

A novel way for Americans with different backgrounds to connect as people and as citizens who are concerned for our country.
The process involves one or two hour-long conversations between two people using a structured conversation guide. The goals are to better understand the experiences, feelings, and beliefs of the other person, discover any areas of commonality, and share ideas for how to bridge differences across our country.
These professional level courses have been crafted by experts in communications and depolarization. They provide an effective and “safe” way to interact with people in difficult situations. These courses can be taken stand-alone, before a workshop, or after a workshop. Each course takes approximately 40 minutes to complete.
Join us for a Braver Angels forum where mental health professionals from across the political spectrum gather online to connect and provide information and support to one another for working with clients who have diverse views on politics and social issues. Meetings are held on the third Friday of the month from 4:00 - 5:30 PM Eastern (1:00 - 2:30 PM Pacific)
As a national organization, Braver Angels offers online and in-person events throughout the country. View all upcoming events here.
