In today’s divided world, leaders face unique challenges in fostering unity and understanding within your organizations and communities. Crossing the Continental Divide, a Braver Angels Ambassador presentation, is designed specifically for you —elected officials, faith leaders, nonprofit executives, university deans, school district superintendents, and other civic leaders—who are working to bridge divides and promote civil discourse.
Co-hosted with Reclaiming Civility, this one-hour session provides an introduction to Braver Angels’ principles and methods while offering actionable strategies for navigating polarization. Participants will engage in thought-provoking discussions with fellow leaders, watch a video of a Red/Blue workshop in action, and explore practical tools for having more productive conversations across differences. We’ll also share an overview of the skills workshops and community debates Reclaiming Civility is hosting with us this summer in Colorado Springs.
June 2: 6:00–7:00 p.m. Library 21C RSVP
Whether you’re navigating political divides in governance, education, faith communities, or nonprofit work, this session will equip you with the tools to foster understanding and build stronger connections in your leadership role.
